Export animated images

Export your projejct as GIF or APNG

Expressive Animator allows you to export your projects as animated GIF or APNG images. GIF is a widely supported format for short, looping animations. It uses a limited 256-color palette and doesn't have true transparency. APNG (Animated PNG) offers better image quality, full 24-bit color, alpha transparency, but has limited support outside modern browsers.

Export settings

The following export settings are provided:

  • Format - You can choose between:
    • APNG - Export as animated PNG.
    • GIF - Export as animated GIF.
  • Transparency - Use background color as the transparent color. This field is available only when Format is set to GIF, since APNG supports true transparency.
