Image objects

Learn how raster images are represented

Image objects are raster (pixel-based) images that are imported into your vector animation. Unlike native vector objects (like shapes or text), image objects are non-vector and retain their original resolution.

Properties

The following properties are available for Image objects:

Compositing
Blend modes and opacity
Transform
Scale, rotate, skew, and other affine transformations
Coordinates
Global coordinates and size

Specific properties

The specific properties of Image objects are:

  • Origin point - Set the Origin point for this object.
  • Size - Set the width and height of the image. Toggle the button to constrain proportions when changing the width and height values. Click the button again to switch back to unconstrained width/height values.
