Expressive Animator allows you to import the following file formats: SVG, AI, PDF, PNG, JPG, and WebP. To import a file, press on your keyboard or click the button to open the application menu and select Import from the dropdown.
Autoscale
Press to import a vector or an image asset and scale it to fit the current zoom level.
Drag and drop
Another way you can import an asset is by simply dragging and droping the file from your file manager into Expressive Animator's canvas area.
From clipboard
Importing assets from clipboard is also supported and you can import both raster and vector images (PNG and SVG). To import from clipboard, press on your keyboard or right-click inside the canvas area and select Paste from the context menu.
